Fabio Capello has forsaken Arsenal winger Theo Walcott from his last 23-man World Cup squad, but Gareth Barry will transport after flitting a last-minute fitness exam on his harmed ankle.

Walcott has regularly pronounced that he could not take his place at the finals for granted, but he did not see Capello"s rejecting coming. The 21-year-old, the warn inclusion in Sven-Goran Eriksson"s patrol for the last World Cup in Germany, has been left ravaged by his omission, according to a source close to the player.

Forwards: Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney.
